Although its cosmopolitan,
geographical and demographic structure differs enormously from East to West and
North to South, these characteristics are also part of the fundamental dynamism and
strength of the alliance. This situation also leads to the need for an important partner
country, which no country can fulfil better than Turkey. Problems in recent years such
as the pandemic, wars, emigration towards Europe and security problems on
commercial sea routes have further raised this need.

This irreplaceable attraction of both sides has also become the most important
dynamic, that promotes long-term cooperation between two sides. This cooperation
is deepening in many sectors, including our aluminium industry. Turkey’s extrusion
capacity has grown significantly over the last 20 years, making the country the most
important supplier on the periphery of Europe.

The EU imports 11.5 million tonnes of aluminium extrusions annually (as of 2023), of
which Turkey’s share of 16% is considerable. Turkey is the third largest country with
one of the largest capacities in the world after China and Germany and exports 1.87
million tonnes of extruded aluminium profiles annually (as of 2023). However, the
general problem of ‘value creation’ of the Turkish economy is also coming to the fore
in the aluminium industry. Therefore, the priorities of Turkish market players will
promote the relation from ‘quantity to quality’.

With the intention of promoting quality and added value, ALUNET was structured and
its basic dynamics were determined; the ‘aluminium’ knowledge was combined with
the ‘network’ acquired over many years of experience and named as ALUNET.
Despite the breath-taking digital speed and the great challenge after the pandemic,
ALUNET has succeeded in being a meeting point where only reliable service is
provided.

Alunet acts according to the principle ‘past is future’ and defines its goals with
professional principles that are set on scientific bases. With an export share of 95%,
ALUNET is one of the few companies, whose vision is in line with the European
model. It mainly offers services for industrial markets and provides aluminium profiles
with added value. These services are distributed for a wide range of product groups
to avoid sector dependency.

Sectors such as transport, automotive, industrial automation and construction are
defined as important areas of activity. In addition to classic extrusion and surface
treatments, the aim is to provide special services to meet the needs of customer
groups who also require a post-processing service for their aluminium profiles. These
processes can be summarised as follows:

Special Surface Treatments:

Surface treatments are often required after machining and assembly processes for
sectors with decorative and high surface requirements. As only a few extrusion plants
have suitable equipment’s, this often occurs problems with regards of surface
requirements of customers. ALUNET has the ability to supply profiles and parts
anodised or coated, also known as piece anodising or piece coating, after machining.
Pre-treatments such as brushing, grinding or polishing are also guaranteed. The
need for additional pickling, degreasing or sandblasting of technical components is
assessed together with the customer.

Machining:

Big plants requires large volumes to maintain their lifecycle and are often unable to
offer for special requests. As this is ALUNET’s core competence, small prototype
quantities are also evaluated. It is important to concentrate on a future continuous co-
operation with the customer instead of trying to define quantities in the name of the
customer. Therefore, all mechanical processing options that are available are offered
regardless of the quantity. Punching, forming, CNC milling and turning, punching,
normal and mitre cutting and welding are offered as standard.

Assembling:

There is a growing demand for the manufacturing of finished components. As it is
again one of ALUNET’s most important ability, these services are offered and lead as
advantages. Assembly with different components, producing sets and kits with
special packaging are the most frequently requested services.

Special solutions for special components:

Certain product groups, profiles or demands can only be guaranteed with special
requirements. With this in mind, ALUNET utilises its project knowledge and offers the
customer a package solution. This means that the necessary parts are offered to the
customer with special machine solutions.

With this approach, ALUNET has created important potential for the future.

[16
85,82,87,83,86,84,47,91,89,92,90,88
post-3897","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-alunet","tag-aluminium-assembly-solutions","tag-aluminium-extrusion","tag-aluminium-for-industrial-automation","tag-aluminium-profiles","tag-aluminium-services-for-industrial-markets","tag-aluminium-surface-treatments","tag-alunet","tag-assembling","tag-qualified-surface","tag-small-prototype-quantities","tag-special-solutions","tag-tailored-solutions
["GET
